Originally from New York, I have resided in Fort Lauderdale for over twenty years. My first position in the hospitality industry was a server’s assistant at the age of 15. Since then, I have held many different titles including server, valet runner and security guard. In April of 2007, I was a member of the team that opened the St. Regis in Fort Lauderdale. Eighteen months later, I was a member of the opening team for the W Fort Lauderdale. At the time of the opening, my job title was Welcome Ambassador and in the same year I was named Employee of the Year. In 2011, I joined the Concierge team, and soon after, I joined the Gold Coast Concierge Association. As a member of the GCCA, I have gained much knowledge relating to the Concierge position, and I have made many new friends as well. As a member, my continued focus is to provide quality service to our members and our visitors. I was recently elected President of the Gold Coast Concierge Association. I look forward to fulfilling my term, elevating the entire Association and to providing long lasting memories to all that experience Fort Lauderdale.

As a native of Broward County, my passion for community and leadership has been elevated by the relationships I’ve made through my involvement. Being born into a family of Hoteliers, I grew up in the halls of Hotels and fell in love with the Hospitality industry at a very young age. I am currently the Front Office Manger at the Renaissance Boca Raton. Prior to joining Renaissance Hotels, I was the Guest Services Manager and Dockmaster at the Riverside Hotel on Las Olas Boulevard. I served as President of the Gold Coast Concierge Association (GCCA) during the 2015-2017 term. During my time with Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, I assisted with the development of the Personal Concierge program which has since been adapted at all Waldorf Astoria Hotels across the world. After over 6 years of working within the Hilton Portfolio of brands in the areas of Sales & Marketing, Guest Services, and Spa & Wellness Operations I set my sites on exploring the independent boutique segment. With a yearning to create one of kind unique experiences, I made a home for myself at Riverside Hotel. I have recently joined the team at Renaissance Boca Raton and am working to further develop the Navigator program and elevate our position in the Community. I’ve earned my Certified Hospitality Professional designation and am an alumnus of Leadership Broward Class XXXIV. For me, it’s about showcasing our beautiful destination and creating memorable moments for our guests and visitors. It has been a continued honor to be a part of this Association and work toward a lasting legacy for years to come.

As a true Native Floridian I have called South Florida my home for twenty-four years and counting. My first start in guest service was in the food & beverage department. I have had almost every job imaginable from a busboy in a deli to a manager at a pizza parlor. In the past few years my ventures have taken me to the Hollywood Hard Rock Hotel & Casino where I have been working at the Concierge Desk for just over a year. Before that I was working at the front desk of my hotel, that’s where I learned that the hospitality industry is my calling in life. Being fairly new to this side of guest service I would like to use my time at G.C.C.A. in becoming an upstanding vocal member of my community and with high hopes of becoming a member of Les Clefs D’or USA. A little about myself is that I love going to the beach, taking long walks, exploring nature trails and watching a great T.V. series. Also I love fun facts, just one about me is that I have never seen snow. I’m looking forward to my time on the Board of Directors to make long lasting professional contacts & new friends.
