I am currently the Director of Guest Services at the Crowne Plaza Hollywood Beach Resort. Prior to joining Intercontinental Hotel Group, I was the Guest Services Manager and Dockmaster at the Riverside Hotel on Las Olas Boulevard. I have served as President of the Gold Coast Concierge Association (GCCA) for over a year now. As a native of Broward County, my passion for community and leadership has been elevated by the relationships I’ve made through my involvement. Being born into a family of Hoteliers, I grew up in the halls of Hotels and fell in love with the Hospitality industry at a very young age. During my time with Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, I assisted with the development of the Personal Concierge program which has since been adapted at all Waldorf Astoria Hotels across the world. After over 6 years of working within the Hilton Portfolio of brands in the areas of Sales & Marketing, Guest Services, and Spa & Wellness Operations I set my sites on exploring the independent boutique segment. With a yearning to create one of kind unique experiences, I made a home for myself at Riverside Hotel. I have recently joined the team at Crowne Plaza Hollywood Beach & am working to further develop the Concierge program & elevate our position in the Community. I’ve earned my Certified Hospitality Professional designation and am an alumnus of Leadership Broward Class XXXIV. For me, it’s about showcasing our beautiful destination and creating memorable moments for our guests and visitors. It is a continued honor to lead this Association and work toward a lasting legacy for years to come.

Originally from New York, I have resided in Fort Lauderdale for over twenty years. My first position in the hospitality industry was a server’s assistant at the age of 15. Since then, I have held many different titles including server, valet runner and security guard. In April of 2007, I was a member of the team that opened the St. Regis in Fort Lauderdale. Eighteen months later, I was a member of the opening team for the W Fort Lauderdale. At the time of the opening, my job title was Welcome Ambassador and in the same year I was named Employee of the Year. In 2011, I joined the Concierge team, and soon after, I joined the Gold Coast Concierge Association. As a member of the GCCA, I have gained much knowledge relating to the Concierge position, and I have made many new friends as well. As a member, my continued focus is to provide quality service to our members and our visitors. Currently, I am serving my first term as Vice President of the GCCA. I look forward to fulfilling my term, elevating the entire Association and to providing long lasting memories to all that experience Fort Lauderdale.

Director of Membership
Born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia and a proud resident of Broward County for almost 20 years, I have been working in the hospitality industry since the age of 19. I have held almost every Front Office position at signature hotels such as the Boca Raton Resort & Club, the Marriott’s Harbor Beach and the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina (formerly the Fort Lauderdale Marina Marriott). Hospitality is my calling, I take pride in the place I call home and I consider myself an ambassador of my city. It makes me proud to live in a destination coveted by travelers both domestically and internationally. This is my home and I want them to enjoy the best of what we have to offer, the best of the best.
Currently I am the concierge at the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina. This 600-room hotel is conveniently located within a mile from Port Everglades, the second busiest passenger cruise port in the world. This gives me a great opportunity to meet and engage in conversations with visitors from all over the world who get to stay with us before and/or after their trip. Every off-season I love to travel, get to know new cultures around the globe. This past year my wife and I actually circumnavigated the globe after travelling 22,000 miles and visiting 3 countries in 2 continents.

Born and raised in Puerto Rico, I moved to the United States as an Exchange Student at West Chester University of Pennsylvania. After graduating in 1992, I became a Flight Attendant for World Airways, and was able to travel the world for 14 years. In 2006, I started my hospitality career. My first job was at The Fairmont Turnberry Isle Resort in Aventura, Florida as a VIP Services Coordinator/Concierge. In January 2008 I moved to Fort Lauderdale and accepted a job as a Concierge at the St. Regis Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort, which 10 months later became The Ritz-Carlton Fort Lauderdale. On April of 2009 I was part of the Opening Team for the W Fort Lauderdale, where I still work as a Concierge. I have served two terms for the Board of Directors of the Gold Coast Concierge Association; Vice-President (2009-2011), and President (2013-2015). I currently sit on the Board as Past President. On December 2015, I become a Member of Les Clefs d’Or USA, the only national organization for hotel lobby Concierges. Today I am honored to wear my crossed golden keys proudly, symbol of service excellence. My motto “Never say no, without offering an alternative”.
Jordan Gross is the newest addition to our Board of Directors in the role of Secretary. Jordan is a Concierge at the Atlantic Hotel on Fort Lauderdale Beach. Jordan is a native of Southern Illinois, but has called Fort Lauderdale home for the past 3 years. Jordan’s career in hospitality began at the Atlantic Hotel where she worked as a Guest Service Agent before transitioning to Concierge. Prior to hospitality, Jordan was a Case Worker for the state of Illinois. In her spare time, Jordan enjoys being outdoors, traveling, and spending time with her dog August. Jordan says her dream destination is Ireland, and the best part of being a Concierge is “being the go-to person for ensuring a memorable trip”. Her term will run through December 2017.
